It’s always a lovely treat to be invited to supper with friends. Bringing along some fizz & nibbles is our usual contribution, but on this particular Friday, I managed to free up a little window of time to prepare a simple dessert that compliments a curry perfectly.
This simple dish is a combination of mango, whipped cream flavoured with brandy and cardamom, crushed meringue, a little icing sugar & and the juice & zest of lime, which gives a lovely fresh flavour.
Everyone enjoyed pud (evident with the empty dishes!) and clearly earned me some brownie points, as we have another invite in the diary!
